1. Who we are
DaycareLogix is operated by EvolvLabs, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. For information collected on this website, EvolvLabs is the data controller. Contact: support@daycarelogix.com.
2. Scope: the website vs. the service
This policy covers two very different things, and the distinction matters:
- The website (daycarelogix.com): marketing pages where you may share limited information with us, such as an email address to request a walkthrough. For that data, we are the controller and this policy is the primary document.
- The service: the DaycareLogix application used by childcare centers and adult day programs. Records inside the service (children, adult participants, families, attendance, meals, medications, billing) belong to the care organization that entered them. That organization is the controller; we process those records on its behalf, under its subscription agreement, only to provide the service. We do not sell them, mine them for advertising, or use them to train AI models.
3. Information we collect on the website
- Contact details you volunteer. Your email address and any details you include when requesting a walkthrough, starting a trial, or emailing us.
- Technical logs. IP address, browser type, device information, and referring pages, collected by our hosting and content-delivery provider for security and operations.
The website does not ask for, and you should not submit, records about children or care recipients.
4. How we use it
To respond to your request, schedule walkthroughs, provision trials, operate and secure the website, and, only if you asked for it, send you product updates. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website uses only the minimum necessary for operation: our infrastructure provider may set functional cookies for security (such as bot mitigation). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the website.
6. How we share information
We share website data only with:
- Service providers. Currently Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery, security) and our email provider, each bound to process data only for us.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of EvolvLabs, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers. If EvolvLabs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy’s commitments.
7. Data retention
Website inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted or anonymized. Records inside the service are retained under the customer’s subscription agreement and applicable childcare and CACFP record-retention rules, and are exportable and deletable at the customer’s direction.
8. Your rights and how to exercise them
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing support@daycarelogix.com. If your request concerns records held inside a care program’s DaycareLogix account (for example, your child’s enrollment record), we will refer it to that program. As the controller of those records, they decide, and we support them in fulfilling it.
9. EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are consent (for communications you request) and legitimate interests (operating and securing the website). You additionally have rights to restrict or object to processing, data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
10. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and correct it, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. Children's privacy
The website and the service are directed to adults (care professionals and family members), not to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the website. Records about children inside the service are entered and controlled by licensed care programs as part of providing care, and are protected by the safeguards described in our Trust Center: strict tenant isolation, role-based access, sensitive-field masking, and a tamper-evident audit log.
12. Health information
Adult day programs and some childcare programs record health-related information (such as medications, allergies, and care plans). Those records are the customer’s, processed only to provide the service. If your organization is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, contact us before storing protected health information so the appropriate agreement can be put in place.
13. Security
We describe our security practices, including isolation, access control, audit logging, and disclosure policy, in the Trust Center and on the Security page. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect data proportionate to its sensitivity, which for care records is high.
14. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the website from elsewhere, your information is transferred to the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from your jurisdiction’s.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here.
